Unmounted Mop Wheels, flap wheels. Unmounted mop wheels are high-performance tools made with aluminum oxide abrasive flaps, radially fitted around a center hole. Ideal for polishing and finishing metal surfaces, they offer long life, continuous working cycles, and minimal change time. Suitable for stainless steel, aluminum, and more—perfect for industrial applications. The Aluminium Oxide abrasive flaps with X-Flex weight backing are radially arranged from the tool axis. The centre hole is reinforced by a metal ring whose size varies according to the wheel’s diameter. This ensures a firm wheel holding on the machine tool by means of suitable reduction flanges. Use Unmounted Mop Wheels with correct rotation and low pressure. Feed the workpiece against the wheel’s direction. Misuse may reduce efficiency and could lead to wheel damage or breakage.
